My name is Hitesh Prashar: I am a father, son, brother, and devout Hindu man.

When my grandparents came to this country, they established the first Hindu temple, and I feel as though my desire to help my community has stemmed from there. 20-odd years ago, I ran a sari shop with my mother, and I loved being able to serve the people in my local area. While that was a lengthy time ago, I haven't changed.

In my life, I have faced discrimination, loss, and pain, but I have also felt love, security, and hope. I want to be able to allow not only my community the latter three sensations, but I want to provide it for everyone. No one deserves to be mistreated because of their beliefs or appearance, and I want to enforce that belief peacefully.

I believe that this is my calling from God, a destiny that I wish to follow, and that is exactly why I started Hindu Police Force UK, not just for the Hindu people, but for everyone.
